Job summary

Procom is seeking a Governance and Compliance Consultant for People, Culture & Talent on behalf of a banking client. The role supports the Workday transition project and ongoing governance, risk, and controls activities in a large, complex organization.

The consultant will assess control design and operating effectiveness, develop and maintain process documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen the governance framework. Start ASAP in Toronto.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in controls management with strong knowledge of operational controls and regulatory compliance management.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in governance, risk, and controls, preferably in HR.
• Strong knowledge of HR processes and process documentation.

Responsibilities

• Apply governance, risk, and control principles to support a sustainable control environment.
• Conduct risk assessments and identify new controls.
• Provide guidance on the creation and maintenance of controls.
• Evaluate design and operating effectiveness of controls.
• Develop and enhance control-related processes and documentation.
• Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and partners.
