Jacobs is seeking an Environmental Regulatory and Permitting Professional for a full-time hybrid role based out of British Columbia (Burnaby or Victoria). You will lead permitting strategies for large infrastructure projects across Western Canada, with focus on BC, and support Indigenous and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of permitting experience, preferably in consulting for infrastructure or energy projects in Canada.
• Experience with BC Energy Resource Activities Act, Water Sustainability Act, Fisheries Act is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Support permitting across project lifecycle in BC and Western Canada.
• Provide strategic regulatory advice on permitting paths and timelines.
• Identify and track permits, licenses, and approvals.
• Maintain compliance registries and logs.
• Assist regulator engagement and Indigenous consultation with documentation and presentations.
• Coach and develop junior staff to improve service delivery.
• Contribute to proposals and permitting strategy development.
• Help manage permitting budgets and change control.
• Promote Jacobs Beyond Zero and caring culture.
