Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in a Natural Resources related field (biology, environmental planning, environmental science, ecology, forestry, or geography).
• 4–8 years of environmental planning or project management experience, preferably in consulting on infrastructure or energy projects.
• Familiarity with provincial and federal regulators and environmental permitting processes is an asset.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Experience in cost estimates, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Strong written and verbal communication; client-facing capability.
• Initiative, problem solving, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Focus on safety in all aspects of work.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams in meeting external client objectives and timelines.
• Conduct desktop assessments and reviews to identify environmental risks and mitigation needs.
• Support permitting throughout the project lifecycle and interact with regulators.
• Coordinate environmental field studies and ensure data collection for permitting.
• Manage project task budgets and assist with change management.
• Provide technical writing support for environmental plans and clearance documents.
• Assist with regulatory compliance activities under provincial or federal law.
• Promote Jacobs Beyond Zero and a culture of caring.
