Co-operators is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to bridge business needs with IT solutions within our IT-Sol Del P/C & Digital department. You will translate requirements into effective system-based solutions and participate in moderately complex initiatives across the project lifecycle.

The role emphasizes Guidewire experience, Jira/Confluence usage, data analysis, and collaboration with stakeholders to deliver client-focused outcomes while adhering to quality and Agile practices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in software application development as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst.
• Post-secondary education in Business, IT or Computer Science.
• Designation in Business, Quality Analysis or Agile methodologies.
• Advanced knowledge of business and quality analysis practices and testing processes.

Responsibilities

• Define business functional specifications and user journeys.
• Understand APIs, UI/UX and non-functional requirements.
• Lead data projects including migration and content management.
• Plan system and user acceptance testing and manage defects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to plan and execute deliverables on complex projects.
• Perform data analysis to identify gaps and create data mapping tables.
• Support program managers and directors in basic project management tasks.
