The Canadian Wildlife Federation is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate to maintain the AP function for our Ottawa-based office. You will process invoices, issue payments by cheque, EFT, and wires, and support year-end activities with the Finance team.

Impeccable accuracy, strong data entry, and knowledge of accounting software (Sage is a plus) are essential. This is a full-time, indeterminate role with a hybrid work arrangement in Ottawa.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent experience in accounting.
• Minimum 1 year of related accounts payable or accounting experience.
• Experience with EFTs, wire transfers, or other electronic payments is an asset.
• Experience supporting year-end, audit, or financial reporting activities is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Accounts Payable Administration: authorize invoices, match to POs, code accounts, and process.
• Payment Administration: initiate wire transfers, EFTs, online payments; maintain weekly payment files.
• Financial Records Management: maintain accurate documentation and systematic filing.
• Audit, Year-End and Regulatory Support: assist with year-end papers and T4/T3010 filing.
• Vendor relations and internal collaboration with Finance.
