Job summary

Venters Recruits is seeking an experienced HVAC sales professional to own a key territory covering Greater Edmonton. This is an outside sales/business development role with about 80% of time in the market, engaging HVAC contractors, builders and industry decision-makers.

You will identify opportunities, build relationships, develop territory strategies, manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, grow accounts, recruit dealers, and represent the company at industry events.

Qualifications

• Proven outside sales or business development experience.
• Strong HVAC and/or construction industry knowledge.
• Demonstrated success winning new business and growing a territory.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Build and grow relationships with HVAC contractors and builders.
• Develop and execute territory sales strategies.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through close.
• Grow existing accounts while expanding market share.
• Recruit and develop new authorized dealers.
• Represent the organization at HVAC industry events and associations.
• Track pipeline, sales and territory performance using Salesforce.
