Job summary

CBRE is seeking an HVAC Technician-R to provide building operations, maintenance and repairs across assigned facilities. The role supports tenant operations and asset integrity under the Maintenance Team Leader.

You will troubleshoot equipment, perform corrective and preventive maintenance, and coordinate with vendors while upholding environmental, health and safety standards. A valid ERSC, Red Seal, Gasfitter B, and a Canada-residency are required.

Qualifications

• Must attain and maintain a valid ERSC; residency in Canada for ERS clearance.
• HVAC-R Red Seal and Gasfitter B certifications are required.
• 3–5 years experience as certified Journeyman Refrigeration Technician.
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Awareness of Environment, Health & Safety requirements.

Responsibilities

Job description

SUMMARYThe HVAC Technician-R is responsible for the provision of building operations, maintenance and repairs in assigned facilities. This job works on a wide variety of assigned tasks under the direction of the Maintenance Team Leader.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Carry out the day-to-day execution of operations and maintenance programs to ensure uninterrupted tenant operations and that assetintegrity is maintained either directly or via building automation systems
2. Trouble shoot, analyse and determine the root cause of equipment and building problems
3. To perform corrective maintenance and repairs within scope of key trade designation
4. Respond to service request and demand maintenance; record data and ensure completed work meets quality and responserequirements
5. Develop and implement preventative maintenance (PM) programs to increase efficiency of building operations
6. Receive, track, monitor and report status of maintenance and repair work. Initiates documents to authorize or obtain formal approvalof work required
7. Ensure compliance with corporate and legislated policies, procedures, practices and guidelines related to environmental, health andsafety, and fire protection
8. Be able and willing to work shifts, be available for on-call/standby and emergency call-out as required
9. Represent CBRE/AFSI in enhancing tenant and customer satisfaction and maintaining positive relations
10. Oversees and maintains all assigned tools and arranges for the calibration/inspection/repair and replacement where required. #GWSCAN

Qualifications

JOB DESCRIPTION "The successful candidate will be required to attain and maintain a valid and active RCMP Enhanced Security Clearance (ERSC). Please note, a condition for attaining an Enhanced Reliability Security (ERS) clearance includes the condition that applicants must have lived in Canada a minimum of five years to apply for ERS."

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

1. Requires minimum three (3) to five (5) years experience as certified / Journeyman Refrigeration Technician

LICENSES AND/OR PROFESSIONAL ACCREDITATION

1. Must possess HVAC -R Red Seal certification and minimum Gasfitter B certification
2. Must meet site and/or position specific security clearance requirements imposed by the client for anassigned location and/or region
3. Valid drivers’ license (as required)

SUPERVISION/DIRECTION EXERCISED

1. The position is not responsible for providing direct supervision.
2. Provide escort, support, monitoring and review Vendor performed work.

PHYSICAL ASSETS/INFORMATION MANAGEMENT

1. May operate a Company issued vehicle in alignment with CBRE/AFSI and/or any other applicable Policiesand procedures
2. Operate and maintain equipment and use of tools in alignment with CBRE/AFSI and/or any other applicable Policies and procedures
3. All applicable IT assets to be used in alignment with CBRE/AFSI and/or any other applicable Policies and procedures

FINANCIAL RESOURCES

1. All financial decisions/purchases to be made in alignment with CBRE/AFSI and/or any other applicablePolicies and procedures
2. Ensure timely and accurate submission of reports/transactions related to authorized expenditures
