Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Technician to perform repairs and preventive maintenance across multiple buildings and systems. You will support energy management and ensure all systems operate efficiently and comply with codes.

This on-site role requires a valid driver’s license, relevant certifications, and willingness to work shifts across various sites. You will follow defined procedures under supervision to deliver reliable facility operations.

Qualifications

  • Building Environmental Studies, Operating Engineer certification, Engineering Technologist, provincial trade certification of qualification, or related diploma/degree/certification.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
  • Willingness to work in shifts, provide coverage when required, work at various sites/locations, and be available on-call and during emergency situations.
  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
  • Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in Canada without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
  • Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs. Manage and track completion.
  • Support energy management by taking measures to ensure that all systems are operating in the most efficient manner.
  • Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Use communication skills to exchange straightforward information. Respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
  • Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
  • Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
  • Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

About The Role

As a CBRE Mobile Maintenance Technician, you will perform repairs and tend to several buildings, building systems, equipment, and ground requests.


This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

The salary range for this role is between $65,000 to $70,000 annually. The compensation provided to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience.
