Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. seeks an HVAC Sr. Technician to install, repair, and maintain large building HVAC and control systems across multiple facilities.

You will calibrate instruments, inspect equipment, and ensure operations meet codes and safety standards. The role requires a red seal HVAC license or Journeyman certification, a valid driver’s license, and completion of an apprenticeship. A company vehicle and tools are provided.

  • 2-3 years of job-related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Red Seal HVAC License or Journeyman certification required.
  • Valid driver's license and completion of an apprenticeship required.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, adjust, service and maintain large HVAC control systems and equipment.
  • Calibrate instruments, gauges, and control components.
  • Inspect and perform ongoing maintenance to ensure proper operation and code compliance.
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine best modification approach.
  • Manage HVAC stock levels for materials and supplies.

A combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a diploma. A red seal HVAC License or a Journeyman certification is required. Valid driver's license and completion of an apprenticeship required. Prior HVAC and supermarket refrigeration experience preferred.• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, andthe ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.• Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.• Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
