Job summary

Johnson Barrow is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer to support Outside Sales Engineers in delivering HVAC solutions. You will engage in estimating, quoting, customer communication, equipment submittals, and on-site technical assistance.

Requirements include a mechanical engineering degree (preferred), HVAC experience, and AutoCAD proficiency. Compensation is $60,000-$70,000 USD per year plus bonus, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Experience with commercial HVAC equipment.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design programs.
• Understanding of construction and contracting models, including Design/Build.

Responsibilities

• Design and layout of commercial HVAC systems, including component selection and refrigerant piping layout.
• Prepare equipment selections and quotes based on mechanical plans and specifications; provide parts quotes.
• Provide first-level technical support for equipment installations.
• Manage customer accounts not assigned to an Outside Sales Engineer.
