Job summary

Modern Niagara is seeking an HVAC Service Technician in Edmonton to deliver preventive maintenance, repairs, and commissioning for commercial building systems. You will work with clients and internal teams to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation, while upholding high safety standards.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork, with participation in after-hours on-call rotation and adherence to health and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Refrigeration and air conditioning mechanical work is required and certification is a must.
• Apprenticeship candidates in 3rd or 4th year may be considered.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence with clean abstract is required.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities; excellent communication with clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and mechanical systems.
• Diagnose equipment issues and complete repairs efficiently with high workmanship standards.
• Support start-up and commissioning activities for building systems.
• Collaborate with service coordinators, supervisors, and technicians to deliver high-quality service.
• Maintain clear communication with clients regarding work performed and recommendations.
