Job summary

District School Board of Niagara is seeking a qualified HVAC Technician to join the Maintenance Service Centre in St. Catharines. The role focuses on maintaining building automation systems, air handling units, and hydronic heating across DSBN facilities.

Qualified candidates will hold 313A or G.1 certificates and a valid Ontario Driver's license. This is a full-time, on-site position offering benefits, pension, and vacation as part of CUPE.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of servicing air handling and hydronic heating systems.
• Experience with building automation system controls and software.
• Attention to detail and ability to produce organized paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform demand, predictive, and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems and related assemblies.
• Ensure compliance with construction, safety codes, and DSBN policies.
• Manage administrative tasks and follow directions from Supervisors/Managers.
• Adhere to terms of the Collective Agreement.
• Limit responsibilities to described duties unless otherwise assigned.
