Job summary

Equans is seeking a Maintenance Generalist based in Toronto to respond to work orders and perform preventative and regulatory maintenance for building systems. The role requires strong multi-tasking, problem-solving, and teamwork within a safety‑conscious environment.

The ideal candidate will have five years of relevant experience in industrial/office buildings, knowledge of HVAC and boilers, and a valid G-class driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong written and oral communication skills required.
• Proficient in MS Office and basic maintenance software.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance work orders for building systems.
• Maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems.
• Ensure compliance with codes and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with occupants, contractors, and building operators.
• Record services in the CMMS (QFM) and report inspections.
