Job summary

Reliance Home Comfort is seeking an Service, Operations Manager in Canada to lead a field operations team. You will partner with local Managers to plan and budget, deliver on P&L targets, forecast staffing, and maximize customer service while meeting commitments.

You will monitor operational metrics, drive improvements, and develop relationships with independent HVAC contractors and 3rd party partners to ensure top performance and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or managerial experience overseeing a field operations team.
• Knowledge and technical experience within the HVAC and/or water heater industry is required.
• Gas B ticket would be an asset.
• Demonstrated results in driving process control, productivity/quality improvement.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn and grow as part of a team that cares about Reliance and its customers.
• Collaborate with local Managers to plan, budget and deliver on P&L targets.
• Ensure staffing plans are forecast, updated and delivered to maximize customer service.
• Measure and drive achievement of operational metrics with reporting and analysis.
• Lead and support development that drives customer satisfaction and growth.
• Coach and manage a team of technical professionals to maximize performance.
• Identify opportunities for relationships with Independent HVAC Contractors.
• Negotiate with 3rd party partners to meet key metrics and standards.
• Review cost, quality, safety and productivity; drive performance improvements.
• Collaborate with Quality, Project Management, Training, HR, Regulatory for better team results.
