Job summary

Johnson Barrow, Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer to support Outside Sales Engineers in delivering HVAC solutions. The role involves estimating, quoting, customer communication, equipment submittals, and on-site technical assistance.

The candidate will design commercial HVAC layouts, prepare accurate quotes from mechanical plans, and manage unassigned accounts to ensure exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Experience with commercial HVAC equipment advantageous.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design programs required.
• Understanding of construction and contracting models, including Design/Build.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on design and layout of commercial HVAC systems, including component selection and refrigerant piping layout.
• Prepare equipment selections and quotes for Outside Sales team based on plans and specifications; provide parts quotes for replacements.
• Provide first-level technical support for equipment installations and post-installation assistance.
• Manage customer accounts not assigned to an Outside Sales Engineer, ensuring excellent service.
