Job summary

Olympic Controls Inc. in Vancouver seeks a Service Retrofit Technical Specialist to support full project lifecycles for retrofit initiatives.

You will perform site visits, design development, and on-site execution, coordinating with PMO, design and technical teams as well as customers and contractors. The role requires programming and commissioning DDC systems, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to manage multiple retrofit projects while meeting customer goals and technical specs.

Qualifications

• Degree, Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Controls or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in HVAC controls, service retrofits, or building automation.
• Demonstrated ability to program and commission DDC systems (e.g., Tridium, Siemens, Honeywell).
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage assigned service retrofit projects in collaboration with Sales, PMO and engineering teams.
• Perform initial site visits with the sales team to assess site conditions and translate into design.
• Program, configure, and commission DDC and building automation control systems.
• Lead commissioning meetings and ensure project deliverables meet schedule and budget.
