Job summary

Houle is seeking a Systems Technician for our Burnaby office to design, program, test, and commission building automation systems. You will work with engineers and field staff on HVAC control designs, shop drawings, and project documentation while traveling to client sites in BC about 20% of the time.

The role requires 3+ years in HVAC controls programming, 2+ years with Schneider EcoStruxure, and a mechanical/electrical engineering credential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in HVAC controls programming.
• Minimum 2 years' experience with Schneider's EcoStruxure platform.
• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree/diploma or certification.

Responsibilities

• Read drawings and specifications to develop HVAC control system designs.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and design teams to produce system designs, shop drawings, programming and graphics.
• Configure, test, commission and service building automation systems including chillers and boilers.
