Job summary
Arup seeks a Power Transmission Engineering Leader to drive HV/EHV transmission line design projects from concept through construction across 69kV–500kV. The role entails technical strategy, design delivery, and mentoring within a collaborative power systems team.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- 15+ years of transmission line design experience.
- Strong proficiency in PLS-CADD.
- 10+ years of experience on project teams managing schedules and budgets.
- Experience incorporating applicable code requirements into transmission line design.
- Familiarity with NESC, IEEE, ANSI, IEC, CSA, IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, and ACI 318.
Responsibilities
- Lead HV and EHV transmission line design projects.
- Develop design criteria and perform cost analyses.
- Mentor junior engineers and designers.
- Coordinate with construction teams, vendors, and clients.
- Prepare sag/tension calculations and right-of-way requirements.
