Job summary

Worley is seeking a Senior Electrical Designer to deliver high-quality electrical design and drafting for major industrial projects. You will coordinate with process, mechanical, piping, instrumentation, and automation teams to ensure integrated designs, review 3D models, and mentor junior designers.

The role covers the full lifecycle from concept to start-up, requiring strong HV/LV expertise, documentation control, and collaboration with clients to meet schedule and budget constraints.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical Design, Drafting, or a related discipline.
• Significant experience in electrical design and drafting, preferably within an EPC, engineering consulting, or industrial project environment.
• Extensive experience delivering electrical design on major industrial projects (energy, oil & gas, mining, chemicals, power, infrastructure).
• Strong knowledge of HV/LV power distribution, motor control and VFDs, lighting, grounding, bonding, lightning protection.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality electrical design and drafting services for major industrial projects, meeting requirements.
• Develop and review HV/LV electrical design deliverables and layouts.
• Coordinate electrical design with process, mechanical, piping, instrumentation, automation teams.
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to designers and drafting teams.
• Participate in client and internal design reviews and ensure compliance with standards.
