This role is responsible for supporting the employee life cycle and career progression of the team and positively influencing culture. Specifically, the HR Manager is accountable for ensuring that all team members have a consistent experience with the company and their personal development is supported by providing visible leadership, creating authentic connection and successfully developing/implementing programs, processes and strategies. This person is an active advocate for the business and visibly leads through the demonstration of our values, commitment to the team and genuine passion to support others.The Role:- Lead HR programs, services and strategies for 120+ employees.
- Motivate, lead and develop team of operations professionals to exceed hiring goals.
- Collaborate with the CEO, Executive leadership team, and operations managers on high-growth recruitment strategies, organizational structure and staffing levels.
- Provide guidance on employee relations and engagement strategies.
- Communicate and administer company benefits and compensation plans.
- Partner with leadership to influence employees towards achievement of company goals.
- Contribute to the creation and successful implementation of the HR strategies that is aligned to the overall organizational goals and objectives
- Lead the annual performance management cycle and process; develop and implement career progression and learning tools and strategies in support of the employee journey and progression plans
- Design and maintain organizational policies, procedures, handbooks and standards in support of creating a safe, respectful and compliant workplace
- Support the recruitment and onboarding efforts of new employees
- Be a key point of contact for team members in support of their employee journey and development; pro-actively support workplace and team member challenges on an individual and systemic base
- Actively contribute to our culture of safety and quality through mentorship and advocacy
- Responsible for the effective collection, storage and management of all information and documentation within our HRIS systems
- Maintain current knowledge with applicable labour laws and regulations within the jurisdictions of which the organization maintains its operations.
The Ideal Candidate:- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or related field.
- CPHR certificationhighly preferred.
- 5+ years HR / recruitment manager experience
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills. Confidence presenting to a group regularly
- Proven leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to identify and solve problems quickly and efficiently.
- Knowledge of the health industry is an asset.
