  • Strong confidentiality, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of First Nations culture, customs, and history.

Responsibilities

  • Manage payroll, deductions, CRA remittances, accounts payable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Process invoices and financial transactions in Sage 300.
  • Prepare cheques, journal entries, and financial reports.
  • Maintain funding agreement and contract records.
  • Support budgeting and financial planning.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and policies.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, training, retention, and succession planning.
  • Prepare employment contracts and maintain personnel records.
  • Coordinate updates to HR legislation, policies, and procedures.
