We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Business Partner. This role is ideally based in our Langley, British Columbia plant. Alternatively, this individual could be based in our Edmonton, Alberta plant. The position reports to the Director, HR (HRBP).

Job Summary
The HR Business Partner is responsible for building positive relationships and facilitating HR strategies across their client groups. The HRBP will interact with all levels of the organization to help drive effective delivery of HR services and support our Manufacturing function in reaching their business goals.
Acts as a trusted advisor to leadership on talent development, organizational performance, culture, leadership, strategic planning, and employee engagement.
Provides strategic advice on talent-related topics, guiding business leaders through workforce planning and effective people strategies, and supporting strategic business objectives.
Partners with the Talent COE to drive strategic capability development, leadership development, succession planning, and staff performance improvement.
Engages with Employee & Labor Relations to address complex issues and implement appropriate actions.
Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with HR COEs and business leaders to develop solutions and programs for the organization.
Aligns organizational workforce plans with recruitment planning processes.
Acts as a trusted advisor and mentor to the senior client group leadership team. Builds deep client relationships.
Represents and promotes the needs of client groups in the development and implementation of enterprise-wide HR programs.
Partners with senior executives to build organizational structure, define job functions, and develop talent management processes to enhance business unit performance.
Promotes the use of standardized change management methodologies across the organization.
Demonstrates an understanding of the strategic direction of the organization.
Provides coaching, direction, and guidance to direct reports.
Qualifications & Experience
7 to 10 years of experience in a human resources function or generalist HR role.
3 – 5 years of leadership experience.
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in HR, Business, Industrial Relations, Organizational Development, or a related field.
Proficiency with HR information systems (Workday preferred) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Progressive HR experience, including understanding employee and labor relations matters.
Experience analyzing trends and metrics with HR Centers of Excellence and business leaders.
