Job description

Location : Remote, in the greater Toronto area, working from the office 5% of the year.

Position Overview :

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team and support our Clinic Operations in the Ontario and Atlantic Regions. As an HRBP at Lifemark, you will partner with leaders and management teams to provide strategic HR guidance aligned with business objectives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to impact the employee experience and contribute to the success of our clinics.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Partner with senior leaders to drive key initiatives.
  2. Provide expert advice on HR policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
  3. Collaborate with leadership to identify talent needs and develop recruitment strategies with the Talent Acquisition team.
  4. Support performance management initiatives, including coaching managers on feedback and performance improvement.
  5. Conduct investigations and resolve employee relations issues fairly and promptly, fostering a positive work environment.
  6. Drive employee engagement initiatives, including recognition programs, wellness initiatives, and diversity and inclusion efforts.
  7. Analyze HR metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop proactive solutions.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • HR certification (e.g., CHRP, CHRL) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a business partner or advisory role.
  • Knowledge of employment law, HR policies, and regulatory requirements in Canada.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships.
  • Proven ability to manage complex employee relations issues with professionalism, empathy, and discretion.
  • Experience in healthcare or related industry is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in ADP systems and MS Office Suite is an asset.

While this is a remote position, only candidates residing in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) will be considered. The successful candidate may be required to conduct clinic visits and attend in-office meetings as needed.
