WildBrain is looking for a HRIS Analyst to join our team!

We are seeking a detail-oriented and data-curious HR Analyst with a strong HRIS background. The ideal candidate will support the daily operations, data & reporting needs of the Talent team while contributing to the delivery of Talent Programs and initiatives.

This role is a 12-month contract for maternity leave coverage and is required to be located within BC, Canada.

What You'll Do :

  • Oversee HRIS processes and integrations, ensuring data integrity and seamless system operations.
  • Configure and maintain advanced HR reporting tools to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Address and resolve payroll and benefits-related issues, acting as a point of escalation for complex cases.
  • Prepare and submit reports related to union activities, ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of HR contract templates, ensuring they are up-to-date and legally compliant.
  • Conduct staffing projection analyses to support workforce planning and ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Assist in the implementation of L&D, DEI, Compensation, Engagement & Performance programs.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly HR reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Facilitate onboarding for new hires in Canada and the US, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Manage employees’ leave of absences.
  • Monitor and support employee immigration processes, including visa and PR applications.

What You'll Bring :

  • 3-5 years of HR experience; experience in a tech and project-driven environment is a plus.
  • HRIS experience is required; TalentSoft & UKG experience is an asset.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, including Employment Standards Act and Human Rights Act.
  • Proficiency in Excel is essential.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business acumen skills.
  • Attention to detail with excellent communication skills.
  • Organizational skills with ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Curiosity and adaptability to changing priorities.

Pay Range : $70,000-$78,000 CAD per year

Compensation varies based on experience, responsibilities, and internal equity considerations.
