WildBrainis looking for a HRIS Analyst to join our team!

We are seeking a detail-oriented and data-curious HR Analyst with a strong HRIS background. The ideal candidate will support the daily operations, data & reporting needs of the Talent team while contributing to the delivery of Talent Programs and initiatives.

This role is a 12 month contract for maternity leave coverage and is required to be located within BC, Canada.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

What You'll Do:

  • Oversee HRIS processes and integrations, ensuring data integrity and seamless system operations.
  • Configure and maintain advanced HR reporting tools to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Address and resolve payroll and benefits-related issues, acting as a point of escalation for complex cases.
  • Prepare and submit reports related to union activities, ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of HR contract templates, ensuring they are up-to-date and legally compliant.
  • Conduct staffing projection analyses to support workforce planning and ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Assist in the implementation of L&D, DEI, Compensation, Engagement & Performance related programs.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly HR reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires in Canada and the US, ensuring a smooth transition and positive experience.
  • Oversee employees’ leave of absences management.
  • Monitor and track the immigration status of employees, provide support for immigration process, including new hire requirement – ongoing visa and PR applications for new and existing employees.

What You'll Bring

  • 3-5 years of experience in HR; experience in a technology and project-driven environment is an asset.
  • HRIS Experience a must; experience with TalentSoft & UKG is an asset.
  • Good knowledge of employment regulations, including the Employment Standards Act and Human Rights Act.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel is a must.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with business acumen.
  • Keen attention to detail with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn; comfortable working with changing priorities.

Pay Range: $70,000-$78,000 CAD per year

Candidates are paid within the range posted, but their exact pay will vary based on the level, responsibilities and expectations of the role. We also take into consideration the experience and skills that individual brings, with consideration of our internal equity.
