An established industry player is seeking a dedicated professional to lead their disability management and employee wellbeing initiatives. This role involves designing innovative programs that promote health, inclusivity, and support for employees facing health challenges. Disability Management Support:
Serve as the primary resource for employees seeking information and support on health, wellbeing, and disability matters, including navigating short term and long-term disability benefits, accommodations, and return-to-work plans.
Advocate for inclusive policies and practices that support a healthy and accessible work environment for all employees, promoting flexible work arrangements, workplace ergonomics, mental health resources, and accommodations.
Program Development and Support:
Design innovative wellbeing programs that address physical, mental, emotional, and social health, including comprehensive disability management strategies to support employees with short-term and long-term disabilities.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure program offerings are diverse, accessible, and inclusive, meeting the needs of all employees.
Strategic Support and Contribution:
Support the HR team in developing a strategic plan for employee wellbeing and disability management initiatives, contributing ideas and conducting research on the latest trends and best practices, including effective return-to-work programs.
Gather and analyze employee insights to inform objectives, timelines, and success metrics, ensuring the initiatives are relevant and supportive of employees at various stages of their health journey.
Collaboration and Engagement:
Work closely with HR colleagues, department heads, employee resource groups, and disability advocates to promote and integrate wellbeing and disability management initiatives across the organization.
Drive high levels of employee participation and support for disability management programs through engaging communication, education, and marketing strategies.
Evaluation and Reporting:
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of wellbeing and disability management programs using data-driven approaches to ensure objectives are met and to inform ongoing improvements.
Prepare comprehensive reports on program participation, employee feedback, disability case management outcomes, and return-to-work success rates for senior management and stakeholders.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Social work, Health Promotion, Rehabilitation, or a related field.
Over 5 years of HR experience, ideally with a focus on health and wellbeing program development and implementation, disability management, and return-to-work coordination.
In-depth knowledge of disability management practices, workplace accommodation, and relevant legislation.
Comprehensive understanding of workplace wellbeing practices, health promotion strategies, and foundational theories in organizational psychology and change management.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage sensitive cases with empathy and confidentiality.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working compassionately with individuals facing health challenges.
Proficiency in data analysis and office software for reporting and presentations, with an ability to use insights for program improvement.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and French.
