Corbec in Drummondville is seeking an HR Advisor to manage all HR matters at our new plant, including recruitment, health and safety, employee relations, training, and employee well-being. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years HR experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent French; knowledge of Spanish is an asset.
• Good knowledge of Quebec HR laws and standards.

Responsibilities

• Participate in health and safety committee activities and support action plans and policies.
• Support employee relations, including disciplinary cases and disputes.
• Collaborate with plant management on recruitment and staffing needs.
• Coordinate onboarding, work permits for foreign workers, and integration processes.
• Draft HR communications and maintain up-to-date policies.
• Assist in training management and compliance with HR laws.

We are looking for an HR Advisor for our new Drummondville plant, a versatile and committed individual who will be able to manage all HR matters: recruitment, health and safety, employee relations, training, and employee well-being. This role is for you if you enjoy both hands-on work and strategic thinking, and if you are passionate about building a strong, people-centered organizational culture that meets the highest standards. What you will do on a daily basis: Health and Safety - Actively participate in the joint health and safety committee and contribute to the implementation of appropriate action plans and policies. Employee Relations - Support the HR department in managing disciplinary cases, complaints, and disputes, including preparing the required documents.

Recruitment and Staffing

• Collaborate with the plant management team on workforce planning.
• Analyze candidate needs, conduct initial phone screenings, and coordinate interviews.
• Manage the administrative formalities related to new hires and their integration.
• Manage work permits for foreign workers.

Internal Communication

• Draft, revise, and distribute HR communications (memos, appointment announcements, internal policies, etc.).
• Maintain up-to-date internal policies and procedures in collaboration with the HR department.

Employee Engagement and Recognition

• Support the Operations Manager and Production Manager in organizing recognition and Mobilization.

Compliance and Administration

• Ensure compliance with applicable HR laws and regulations.
• Track hours worked and maintain confidential files.
• Participate in employee training management.
• Provide quality service to employees, candidates, and suppliers/consultants.
• Any other related tasks.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, or a related field — or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and meticulousness in Management of confidential information.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Good knowledge of applicable HR laws and standards in Quebec.
• Fluent French; knowledge of Spanish is an asset.
