Job summary

NūMove Robotics & Vision in Drummondville is seeking an HR Advisor to manage recruitment, health and safety, employee relations, training, and well-being. This hands-on role combines practical HR administration with strategic initiatives to foster a people-centric culture.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in HR, 2+ years of HR experience, fluency in French, and strong Excel and MS Office skills to support operations, policy updates, and compliance with Quebec HR laws.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulousness with confidential information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in French; knowledge of Quebec HR laws.

Responsibilities

  • Health and Safety: participate in the joint health and safety committee and implement action plans and policies.
  • Employee Relations: assist in managing disciplinary cases, complaints, and disputes with required documents.
  • Recruitment and Staffing: workforce planning, candidate screening, interview coordination, and onboarding processes.
  • Internal Communication: draft and distribute HR communications and update internal policies.
  • Employee Engagement and Recognition: support management in recognition and mobilization efforts.
  • Compliance and Administration: ensure HR law compliance, track hours, maintain confidential files, and support training management.

We are looking for an HR Advisor for our new Drummondville plant, a versatile and committed individual who will be able to manage all HR matters: recruitment, health and safety, employee relations, training, and employee well-being.This role is for you if you enjoy both hands-on work and strategic thinking, and if you are passionate about building a strong, people-centered organizational culture that meets the highest standards.

What you will do on a daily basis:
Health and Safety

Actively participate in the joint health and safety committee and contribute to the implementation of appropriate action plans and policies.

Employee Relations

Support the HR department in managing disciplinary cases, complaints, and disputes, including preparing the required documents.

Recruitment and Staffing
  • Collaborate with the plant management team on workforce planning.
  • Analyze candidate needs, conduct initial phone screenings, and coordinate interviews.
  • Manage the administrative formalities related to new hires and their integration.
  • Manage work permits for foreign workers.
Internal Communication
  • Draft, revise, and distribute HR communications (memos, appointment announcements, internal policies, etc.).
  • Maintain up-to-date internal policies and procedures in collaboration with the HR department.
Employee Engagement and Recognition
  • Support the Operations Manager and Production Manager in organizing recognition and Mobilization.
Compliance and Administration
  • Ensure compliance with applicable HR laws and regulations.
  • Track hours worked and maintain confidential files.
  • Participate in employee training management.
  • Provide quality service to employees, candidates, and suppliers/consultants.
  • Any other related tasks.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, or a related field — or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and meticulousness in Management of confidential information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Good knowledge of applicable HR laws and standards in Quebec.
  • Fluent French; knowledge of Spanish is an asset.
