Trotter & Morton Group of Companies is seeking a full-time Human Resources Administrator to join our team on a one-year contract, with the potential for extension. Located in Calgary, Alberta, the role supports day-to-day HR activities and recruitment across the organization.

The successful candidate will have an HR certificate or designation in progress, plus a related degree or diploma and office experience. Travel to other sites may be required.

Formación

  • Completion or working towards HR certificate or designation
  • Working towards or a post-secondary degree/diploma in Business/HR
  • Previous office experience is considered an asset

Responsabilidades

  • Provide day to day professional and confidential HR support
  • Assist HR team with reports, projects and initiatives
  • Coordinate with Payroll, Safety and HR team members
  • Respond to general HR inquiries
  • Assist with special project work
  • Prepare job descriptions and postings
  • Coordinate recruitment activities and interviews
  • Prepare onboarding for new hires and maintain employee files
  • Maintain pay and personnel records for audit compliance
  • Represent the company at career fairs and recruitment events
  • Perform administrative duties and data entry
  • Assist People & Culture Team with events and initiatives
  • Perform other duties as required

We are currently looking for a full-time Human Resources Administrator to join our team on a one-year contract, with the opportunity for extension.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Provide day to day professional and confidential HR support
  • Assist the HR team with reports, projects and initiatives as directed
  • Coordinate with other departments such as Payroll, Safety, and other HR team members within Trotter & Morton Group of Companies
  • Respond to general HR inquiries when applicable
  • Assist with special project work
  • Preparation of job descriptions, job postings, etc.
  • Coordinate recruitment activities, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
  • Prepare onboarding for new hires and rehires and collect and file important documents into employee files
  • Collaborate with other departments to maintain and ensure pay and personnel records are accurate and up-to-date audit trail for compliance
  • Represent the company at career fairs and recruitment events
  • Perform administrative duties, including filing and data entry
  • Assist the People & Culture Team with corporate events and initiatives
  • Perform other duties as required

Required Education and Experience
  • Completion or working towards HR Certificate/Designation
  • Working towards or new graduate with post-secondary degree/diploma in Business/HR
  • Previous office experience is considered an asset
