Responsibilities
  • Manage the recruitment lifecycle and a list of casual employees
  • Maintain an on‑call schedule
  • Provide assistance to and holiday coverage for on‑ and off‑site HR teammates
  • Facilitate enrollments into our benefits and employer‑matched RSP plans
  • Assist in developing and updating ENYR policies, procedures and print materials
  • Maintain employee paper and electronic files, a clean and orderly office and adequate stock of the necessary supplies
  • Book and organize meetings and interviews, accept registrations and RSVPs
  • Attend meetings, take minutes and facilitate the follow‑up on action items
  • Facilitate training, including that of HR teammates
  • Provide guidance and assistance to managers regarding HR functions and employment legislation
  • Other reasonable duties as required or assigned

Qualifications
  • Degree, diploma or certificate in HR and/or significant previous experience with recruitment or supporting an HR department
  • Working knowledge of Canadian employment legislation and HR best practices and principles
  • Proficiency with Office365 and MS Office Suite
  • Strong accurate keyboarding skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Familiarity with First Nations culture is an asset
  • Criminal Record Check is required
