Job summary

Student Transportation of Canada is seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator who can manage employee records and HR databases with exceptional accuracy. You will ensure data integrity and support HR workflows end-to-end.

Responsibilities include drafting and formatting HR documents and job advertisements, posting openings on platforms, assisting recruiters with document collection, and contributing to ATS reporting while maintaining confidentiality and professional communication.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or post-secondary education in HR, business administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional HR administration, data management, or support-focused experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, detail-oriented HR environment is an asset.
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Conduct regular data audits for integrity and compliance across HR systems.
  • Draft, format, and edit professional HR documents including memos, letters, meeting minutes/notes, internal templates, and written correspondence.
  • Draft compelling, accurate and compliant job advertisements based on role requirements.
  • Post job ads across selected platforms and monitor performance.
  • Assist recruiters with document collection (driver's licenses, direct deposit information, outstanding paperwork, etc.).
  • Compile application data and recruitment spend to track/report on Sourcing ROI.
  • Assist with ATS reporting and test for accuracy.
  • Assist with pre-screening as required during high-volume periods.
  • Reception duties including answering/directing calls, assisting walk-ins, troubleshooting technology issues with candidates.
  • Responding to employee inquiries professionally and confidentially.

Human Resources Administrator

If so, we're looking for a Human Resources Administrator who is a detail-oriented and tech-savvy professional who excels in written communication, works independently with minimal supervision, and takes pride in maintaining accuracy within HR systems and documentation.

What You'll Do

Your primary responsibilities will include:

Qualifications

  • Experience in a fast-paced or detail-oriented HR environment is an asset
  • Prior experience working with systems such as UKG or JD Edwards is preferred
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
