Role Summary

You are an experienced HR Professional who is innovative, collaborative, and passionate about using your HR skills to help Durabuilt evolve. You think like a business owner, understand business priorities, champion change, and translate these into an HR agenda that supports business growth. You build relationships and credibility with managers through strategic thinking and tactical execution, providing operational support and HR management support as the key contact for managers.

Minimum Requirements
  • 5+ years in an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist role.
  • Experience supporting a culture of recognition and performance, ideally in manufacturing or construction industries.
  • Knowledge of employment law, HRMS software, and practical application of legislation.
  • Experience working with diverse cultures and a varied workforce.
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Key Responsibilities
  • HR Operations (30%): Ensure compliance, improve HR practices, manage employee relations, and analyze data for decision-making.
  • Coaching and Development (20%): Enhance leadership capabilities, support performance reviews, and promote a positive workplace culture.
  • Employee Relations (40%): Guide on performance, discipline, investigations, and employee engagement.
  • Recruitment (10%): Talent acquisition planning, onboarding, and retention strategies.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Human Resource Management, Business, Leadership, or Psychology.
  • CPHR certification or in progress.
Work Conditions
  • Office environment with lifting requirements (0-20 lbs.).
  • Standard office equipment use.
Reporting Structure
  • Reports to: Human Resources Manager
  • Indirect reports: Human Resources Coordinator
Additional Information

This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position with an 8-hour shift. Salary range: CA$85,000 - CA$100,000.
