MNP is seeking a Human Capital Data Advisor in Calgary to design and maintain workforce analytics using Excel, Power BI and Power Platform. You will ensure data integrity, learn our HCMS, and collaborate with technology teams to drive data-driven HR decisions.

The role focuses on advanced reporting, dashboards, and continuous improvement, requiring strong Excel skills, data modeling, and bilingual communication. This is an on-site position in Calgary with strong cross-functional exposure.

Formación

• Degree in Human Resources, Data Science, Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with Human Capital data and workforce reporting, analytics, and insights.
• Experience gathering requirements, developing reports, and data analysis.
• Advanced Excel with pivot tables and formulas; VBA is an asset.
• Proven ability to create advanced reports/dashboards with Power BI, Power Platform, and data models.
• Knowledge of Azure Services and Fabric is an asset.
• Strong communication, remote-working discipline and deadline-driven.
• Bilingual FR/EN is an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop and maintain reporting and analytics solutions using Excel, Power BI and other analytics tools to provide insights into workforce trends and support HC decisions.
• Maintain data integrity through audits, report reviews, regression testing and data accuracy checks.
• Learn HCMS processes to understand data and maintain knowledge through ongoing support.
• Develop and maintain process documentation and provide end-user training, incorporating BI best practices; troubleshoot issues and resolve timely.
• Leverage Power BI and Power Platform to interpret complex datasets and produce reports for planning.
• Identify opportunities to improve end-user experience and work processes.
• Work with Technology, internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure integration between systems.
• Support system controls and security within multiple business systems.
• Develop understanding of the firm’s services, businesses and industry.
• Continually expand knowledge through professional development and research of data tech and HC trends.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain reporting and analytics solutions using Excel, Power BI and other analytics tools to provide meaningful insights into workforce trends and support strategic and data-driven Human Capital decisions
• Maintain data integrity by conducting audits, reviewing reports, regression testing and analyzing data for accuracy and completeness
• Learn the foundational processes in our Human Capital Management System (HCMS) to ensure understanding of underlying data and continuously maintain this knowledge through ongoing support
• Develop and maintain process documentation and provide end-user support through training, incorporating business intelligence best practices Troubleshoot application issues and work towards timely resolution
• Leverage advanced analytics tools such as Power BI and the greater Power Platform to interpret complex datasets and produce detailed reports that support operational and business planning
• Identify and recommend continuous improvement opportunities to enhance the end-user experience and overall work processes
• Work in collaboration with the Technology team, other internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure seamless integration between multiple business systems
• Support the maintenance of system controls and security within multiple business systems
• Develop a thorough understanding of the firm’s services, businesses and industry
• Continually expand knowledge through professional development and ongoing research of data technology and human capital management industry trends

Skills And Experience

• Degree in Human Resources, Data Science, Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience working with Human Capital data and developing workforce reporting, analytics, and insights
• Experience gathering requirements, developing reports, and preparing business and data analysis
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas; experience with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) is considered an asset
• Proven expertise in creating advanced reports and dashboards, with experience in Power BI, Power Platform, and preparing data models
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Services and Fabric is considered an asset
• Proactive, flexible, dependable and solution-oriented approach
• Ability to communicate in French and English is considered an asset
• Self-disciplined with proven experience working with remote teams
• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
• Desire to collaborate and make an impact in a growing organization
• Critical thinker who is motivated by continuous system improvement
