Project XIII Staffing has partnered with a well-established manufacturer in the Greater Hamilton Area (Burlington) to fill a newly prioritized HRIS Analyst role. Our client is investing heavily in its HR technology stack and is looking for someone who can own that transformation from the ground up.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in an HRIS role with Dayforce experience.
• Experience with system implementations, upgrades, or major configuration projects.
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and Power Query.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day HRIS administration: org structures, security roles, workflows, and employee data.
• First point of contact for system troubleshooting and end-user support across HR, managers, and employees.
• Roll out new platform modules over time (Performance, Learning, Compensation, Benefits, Recruitment & Onboarding).
• Coordinate with outside consultants and vendors to configure, test, and launch upgrades.
• Create implementation plans, testing scripts, and documentation for new projects.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools on headcount, turnover, absenteeism, overtime, and recruitment activity.
• Spot opportunities to automate HR processes and improve data accuracy across systems.
• Run regular audits to keep HR data clean, secure, and compliant.
• Manage vendor/consultant relationships and keep projects on track.
• Create training materials and lead system training sessions for HR, managers, payroll, and staff.
• Ensure HR systems stay aligned with employment legislation and privacy requirements.
