Cascades in Scarborough is seeking an HR Technician to jump into real HR challenges from day one. You will coordinate recruitment, support onboarding, and help drive employee engagement in a manufacturing environment.

You’ll work on-site five days per week, collaborating with mentors and leaders to grow your HR career and contribute to a respectful, people-centered workplace. This role offers mentorship and a chance to shape our culture.

Qualifications

• Certificate, diploma, or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1–2 years HR experience through co‑op, internship, or entry‑level role.
• Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, engagement, or other people-focused initiatives.
• People-first mindset, adaptability, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Exposure to manufacturing or industrial environments is a plus.
• Availability to work on-site five days per week with flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate full-cycle recruitment activities and attract talent.
• Connect with employees and leaders daily to build relationships.
• Partner with teams to address questions and support employee relations.
• Lead and support engagement initiatives, recognition, and events.
• Manage HR information and documentation accurately.
• Support onboarding, training, communications, and projects.
• Bring ideas to strengthen culture and employee experience.
