The Opportunity

The HR Systems and Process Specialist is a key position within the HR Enablement team in Canada, reporting to the Senior HR Systems Specialist. The role involves supporting HR operations, data management, system functionality, reporting, compliance, and time-off management. The person will also work on improving talent operational effectiveness, focusing on formalizing and enhancing end-to-end processes. Collaboration with various stakeholders across the firm, including recruitment, payroll, total rewards, IT, and our third-party provider IBM, is essential. This position is open to all office locations in Canada.

Your Key Responsibilities
HR Data Management
  • Manage HR data within SuccessFactors modules (Onboarding, Employee Central, Time-Off).
  • Maintain interdependencies between SuccessFactors and other systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Payroll).
  • Manage foundational data creation and modifications.
  • Audit and analyze data for integrity and resolve issues with employees or IBM.
  • Support large data activities such as mass uploads, salary changes, and hires.
Project Implementation
  • Assist with project configurations, testing, and creating instructional materials.
  • Support various projects and initiatives (e.g., acquisitions, leave programs, data collection).
Process Documentation
  • Document process changes and update related materials.
  • Participate in meetings to understand scope and impacts.
  • Recommend process improvements.
Day-to-Day Talent Operations
  • Support talent operations tools and participate in system testing.
  • Act as Level 2 support in ServiceNow for HR systems.
  • Maintain content in knowledge bases and assist with impact analysis of upgrades and releases.
  • Produce reports as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years in HR systems administration and operations.
  • Experience with SuccessFactors is an asset.

The salary range in British Columbia is $56,400 to $84,600, with actual compensation based on experience and location.
