Process Mapping Specialist
Reports to: Project Manager
Duration: 6 Months (Contract)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Process Mapping Specialist to join our team on a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate will bring 2-5 years of experience and will be responsible for understanding, analyzing, and optimizing end-to-end processes across our operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that processes are well-structured and efficient, reducing risks, and setting the foundation for successful technological implementations that will scale with the company’s growth. You will work closely with business leaders to document, improve, and streamline current processes while ensuring a smooth transition for upcoming projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process Discovery & Documentation
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather and map out existing workflows.
- Create detailed, structured process documentation using tools such as Figma, Miro, and Excel.
- Maintain a centralized, well-organized repository of business processes for easy access and reference.
2. Process Analysis & Continuous Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and bottlenecks in current operations.
- Use methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile to evaluate and recommend improvements.
- Ask critical questions to challenge the status quo and drive smarter ways of working.
- Design and implement standardized processes that ensure consistency across teams.
- Develop scalable process improvements aligned with business goals and future growth.
- Prepare processes for automation and digital transformation by ensuring clarity and structure.
4. Requirements Gathering & Project Documentation
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable project requirement documents for IT and operational teams.
- Ensure all technical and functional requirements are thoroughly documented and aligned with business objectives.
- Support both short- and long-term implementation efforts by maintaining up-to-date documentation.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Change Enablement
- Engage with business leaders, department heads, and project managers to align on goals and outcomes.
- Act as a liaison between operations and technology teams to facilitate smooth integration of systems and tools.
- Promote knowledge-sharing and ensure efficient handoffs between departments.
Key Qualifications
- Experience: 2–5 years in process mapping, business analysis, operations, or a related field.
- Skills:
- Strong grasp of business operations and process design.
- Ability to visualize and structure complex workflows.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and a proactive, self-driven mindset.

Frameworks & Methodologies (Knowledge of)
