Job summary

Sun Life Financial is seeking an HR Senior Systems Analyst to optimize the organization’s HCM system and related HR systems. You’ll partner with HR, IT, payroll, and benefits to drive data integrity, security, and compliant, efficient processes.

You will mentor teammates, streamline workflows, and deliver insights while balancing risk and the digital employee experience. In this role, you’ll manage enhancements, document procedures, host trainings, and work with vendors on upgrades.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience configuring Workday in 1+ modules.
• Experience with Jira or ServiceNow for ticket management.
• Understanding of data governance and quality engineering best practices.
• Experience in agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning).
• Strong communication and collaboration across departments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver capabilities from idea to implementation with daily stakeholder input.
• Manage HR system service requests and incidents via Jira or similar.
• Resolve HR tech issues and perform troubleshooting.
• Identify process improvements and system enhancements with HR/business teams.
• Maintain data integrity through audits, testing and updates.
• Support cyclical HR processes like talent management and benefits.
• Document processes and provide training materials and sessions.
• Collaborate with IT or vendors on upgrades, patches, releases.
• Ensure HR data security and regulatory compliance.
• Stay current on HR tech trends and best practices.
