Responsibilities

Managers of Support Roles

  • Manages through team leads and may directly manage support and lower-level professional employees to deliver operational objectives through others
  • Manage a team of employees in the Support track, and occasionally manage lower-level Professional track roles (P1 and P2)
  • Provide direction based on established policies and practices
  • Identify opportunities for improved work practices (e.g., increased efficiency) and recommend them to senior leadership
  • Manage and resolve escalated operational issues resulting from process gaps or evolving user requirements
  • Develop and oversee routine operational plans, typically on a monthly timeline
  • Operate tactically, making decisions within established policies, procedures, and precedents

Team Management

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team that consistently delivers exceptional service
  • Ensure quality training and cross-training to support business continuity
  • Monitor team performance and maintain compliance with organizational standards
  • Foster a customer-centric mindset and deliver outstanding employee experiences
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and support team development goals
  • Promote an inclusive work environment and respect for diverse cultures

Operations Management

  • Monitor service delivery through quality assurance, case data reviews, and employee feedback
  • Optimize operational processes and promote self-service opportunities
  • Serve as a trusted partner in supporting global and regional people initiatives
  • Organize and lead meetings, analyze key metrics, and propose strategic improvements
  • Manage escalations and ensure timely incorporation of legislative and policy updates
  • Drive continuous improvement and maintain comprehensive knowledge databases

Project Management

  • Lead and execute projects focused on process improvement and innovation
  • Collaborate with global teams to implement success criteria and project plans
  • Represent HR support functions in cross-functional projects and group-based initiatives

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (BA or BS)
  • 5+ years of experience in HR Operations, Shared Services, or HR Transformation.
  • Demonstrated transformational mindset and experience in process design
  • Strong customer service orientation with a focus on employee experience
  • Deep understanding of HR compliance, policies, benefits, and employment law in the US, Canada, and Latin America
  • Experience with HR case management tools, Workday , and emerging AI technologies
  • Proven ability to build effective, inclusive teams
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to collaborate across large teams
