Memorial University of Newfoundland is seeking a Shared Services Consultant (Band Level 6) within the People and Culture unit for a 2-year contractual position. You will deliver a broad range of HR services through the Shared Services Centre, acting as the first contact for staff, faculty, and administrators, ensuring accurate and timely information.

Responsibilities include onboarding, leave administration, payroll-related tasks, and supporting recruitment and job evaluation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in human resources.
• Diploma in business, HR management or related field required; or equivalent experience.
• Experience with payroll systems/HRIS is preferred; client-centric/shared services experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Deliver a range of HR services within the Shared Services Centre.
• Be the first point of contact for HR inquiries and provide accurate information.
• Oversee onboarding, leave administration, and leave without pay processes.
• Support position control, job evaluation, recruitment, and payroll activities.
• Perform other related duties as required within the HR shared services scope.
