Job summary

Marine Atlantic is currently seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join the Human Resources Department in North Sydney, NS for a six-month term. The role provides comprehensive coordination and administrative support to the Recruitment Team, reporting to the Director People and Culture.

Qualifications

• Degree from a recognized university in a relevant field of study.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Combination of equivalent education, training, and work experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate full-cycle recruitment using SAP SuccessFactors Recruitment Module.
• Schedule and coordinate high-volume interviews across multiple time zones.
• Collaborate with training and development for testing and onboarding.
• Coordinate pre-employment medicals with Occupational Health and Safety.
• Represent Marine Atlantic at career fairs and diversity events.
• Improve and track recruitment metrics and reporting.
• Provide research, analysis and recommendations to the HR team.
• Support a safe and psychologically healthy work environment.
• Perform other duties as required by the HR leadership.
