Job summary

Imperial in Canada is launching an HR Rotational Development Program for recent graduates. You will rotate through Business HR, Labor Relations, Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, and Programs Design to build broad HR expertise.

We seek MBA or Master’s graduates with strong communication and analytical skills. Positions are based in Edmonton, AB or Sarnia, ON with a comprehensive benefits package and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Upcoming or recent graduate with a Bachelor's, MBA, or Master’s degree in Human Resources or related disciplines
• Most recent unofficial transcript must be submitted with your application
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, across all levels of the organization
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities
• Strong drive to create a positive work environment, leveraging a highly diverse workforce
• Ability to operate with autonomy and discretion in a complex and rapidly changing work environment
• Preferred: Previous internship or other experience in business or Human Resources

Responsibilities

• Business HR – Drive talent solutions based on data insights and execute processes to improve business performance
• Labor Relations – Execute labor strategies and manage day‑to‑day labor relations activities
• Employee Relations – Investigate allegations of misconduct, potential policy violations, etc.
• Talent Acquisition – Develop branding and sourcing strategies to attract the highest‑quality talent
• Programs Design – Design programs, plans and guidelines to meet business needs in line with corporate intent
• Talent Development – Leverage analytics for near‑ and long‑term organizational staffing needs
