Job summary

Tim Hortons is seeking a part-time Recruitment & HR Coordinator to oversee full lifecycle recruitment for restaurant roles and support HR management across the team. You will coach managers on performance, administer policies, and ensure compliance with ESA and related laws while maintaining data-driven insights using Power BI and Excel.

The role is in-office, Monday to Friday, with On-site parking and a focus on building an inclusive, high-performing culture within a franchise-led environment.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate Diploma or Master’s degree in Human Resources; CPHR designation (or working towards) an asset.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in HR, with at least 1 year in high-volume recruitment, ideally in QSR, retail, or hospitality.
• Strong understanding of ESA, OH&S, Human Rights Code, and related employment legislation.
• Knowledge of Canadian immigration processes (preferred).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel: pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
• Familiarity with recruitment platforms and data visualization tools (Power BI an asset).
• Soft skills: strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for high-volume restaurant roles and management positions.
• Oversee onboarding, training, development, and employee relations.
• Coach managers on performance management, conflict resolution, and engagement.
• Administer policies, benefits, and performance review programs.
• Ensure ESA, OH&S and other regulations compliance.
