Job summary

CGT Cambridge seeks a Manager, Human Resources & Labour Relations to lead HR and union relations across the organization. You will advise on performance management, investigations, absence programs, and collective agreement interpretation.

Lead HR projects, partner with leaders, and drive workplace improvements in a manufacturing setting. Strong communication and confidentiality are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field.
• CHRP/CHRL designation is an asset.
• 5+ years in a unionized HR/Labour Relations role, preferably manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Advise leaders on policy and collective agreement interpretation.
• Lead workplace investigations and support resolution processes.
• Oversee absence management and return-to-work programs.
• Guide collective agreement administration and interpretation across the organization.
• Participate in union meetings, grievances, arbitrations, and negotiations.
• Analyze HR data to identify trends and drive actions.
