Job summary

Recruitment Partners Inc. is seeking an HR Generalist to support day-to-day HR programs and initiatives in Canada.

You will work with employees and leaders on recruitment, onboarding, performance management, benefits, and compliance to deliver a consistent employee experience. In this role you will maintain HR records, update policies, advise on employment standards, and collaborate to address workplace concerns with discretion and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years of HR Generalist or similar experience.
• Knowledge of Alberta Employment Standards and HR best practices.
• Experience administering benefits and maintaining HR records.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment activities: job postings, applicant screening, interview coordination.
• Coordinate onboarding activities for positive, consistent employee experience.
• Support performance management processes and provide tools/resources to leaders.
• Administer benefits programs, enrollments, changes.

• Partner with managers to address performance, conduct, and conflict issues.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.
• Ensure HR practices comply with employment legislation and company policies.

This role serves as a key resource for employees and leaders, supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and HR compliance.

Your Success Will Be Defined By Your Ability To

• Support recruitment activities, including job postings, applicant screening, and interview coordination
• Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure a positive and consistent employee experience
• Support performance management processes and provide tools and resources to leaders
• Administer employee benefits programs, enrollments, and employee changes
• Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee documentation
• Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee relations matters and workplace concerns
• Partner with managers to address performance, conduct, and conflict-related issues
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR system data
• Ensure HR practices comply with employment legislation and company policies
• Support a positive and collaborative workplace culture

Your strengths include:

• 3+ years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist or similar HR role
• Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management initiatives
• Knowledge of Alberta Employment Standards and HR best practices
• Experience administering employee benefits and maintaining HR records
• Ability to develop and maintain HR forms, templates, and process documentation
• Experience working with HRIS systems; BambooHR experience considered an asset
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
• High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• CPHR or CHRP designation, or progress toward completion, considered an asset
