Job summary

Maple Leaf Foods is seeking an HR Coordinator for the Speedvale facility in Guelph, Ontario. The role supports frontline team members with HR programs, payroll, recruitment, and employee relations, reporting to the onsite HR Manager.

You will maintain records in SAP, coordinate onboarding, and help ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards. Ideal candidates have 2–4 years HR experience in manufacturing or operations, post-secondary education in HR, CHRP asset, and strong

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Human Resources or related field; CHRP designation considered an asset.
• 2–4 years HR experience in manufacturing/operations.
• Experience supporting HR operations, payroll, and employee relations.
• Strong communication and discretion with confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for HR inquiries with timely follow-up.
• Maintain employee records in SAP and update changes and status.
• Process payroll and timekeeping in Kronos, support audits.
• Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and data entry in HR systems.
• Lead attendance management and support employee relations investigations.
• Assist HR metrics, reporting, and process improvements.
