Job summary

ATS Traffic is hiring an HR Co-op Student for January–August 2027 in Surrey, BC. This full-time, on-site co-op operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and offers paid work within a busy HR team, focusing on the end-to-end recruitment process for entry-level and seasonal positions.

You will create and post job ads on UKG and external boards, review resumes, conduct preliminary phone interviews, schedule and conduct interviews, perform reference checks, prepare offer letters, and support

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a post secondary education program with a specialization in Human Resources or related field.
Preference for 3rd/4th year HR students with related coursework.
Fresh perspective and positive attitude to attract top talent.
Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple vacancies.
Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn HR software (UKG).

Responsibilities

Create and post job advertisements on UKG and external boards.
Review resumes and applications, select candidates and conduct preliminary phone interviews.
Schedule and conduct interviews (virtual or in-person) and debrief with the hiring manager.
Perform reference checks for entry-level vacancies.
Prepare offer letters and pre-employment documentation; coordinate start dates.
