Job summary

ATS Traffic Ltd. is seeking an HR Co-op Student for an 8-month term in Surrey, BC. You will work closely with the HR team to gain hands-on experience in full-cycle recruitment for entry-level and seasonal roles.

Responsibilities include posting advertisements on UKG and other boards, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and preparing offers. This role runs Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM and is on-site with compensation of CAD 23–25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a post secondary education program with a specialization in Human Resources, Industrial/Employee Relations, Law or a related field.
• 3rd/4th year students preferred with HR, recruitment, health and safety coursework.
• Creative, fresh perspective and positive attitude to attract top talent.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple vacancies.
• Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams; able to learn UKG HRIS.

Responsibilities

• Administer full-cycle recruitment for entry-level and seasonal positions.
• Create and post job advertisements on UKG and external boards.
• Review resumes, conduct initial phone interviews; schedule and conduct interviews.
• Perform reference checks for permanent entry-level vacancies.
• Prepare offer letters and employment documentation; coordinate pre-employment requirements.
