Job summary

Dometic Vancouver is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to partner with management and employees, delivering HR services across management and labour relations. The role reports to the HR Director and is based in Vancouver, BC.

As HRBP, you will think strategically, act tactically, and collaborate across teams to drive value-added HR. Key duties include recruitment, policy interpretation, and supporting union relations while promoting company values and diversity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in a multi-disciplinary HR role.
• Diploma in HR Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience supporting leaders in fast-paced environments.
• HR systems experience, preferably UKG.
• CPHR designation and labour relations experience desired.
• Engineering/manufacturing industry background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide full HR services aligning with business objectives.
• Deliver full-cycle recruitment across product engineering and CNC manufacturing.
• Manage student Co-Op program with universities.
• Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to management.
• Improve relationships, morale, productivity, and retention.
• Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
• Coach management in employee and labour relations.
• Investigate complex employee relations issues impartially.
• Assist with collective agreements and union relations.
• Support grievances, arbitrations, and legal activities.
• Collaborate with HR to analyze trends and policy needs.
