Skillhub Solutions Inc. is seeking an on-site HR Generalist to support a logistics and transportation organization during a leave. This 3-month contract role with a 40-hour work week sits on-site at Edmonton, AB, with potential for extension based on performance. The role requires at least 5 years in HR, strong investigations, and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment across multiple sites.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead employee relations initiatives, investigations, documentation, and follow-ups.
• Coach and support managers across multiple sites.
• Support internal mobility, including transfers, promotions, and department changes.
• Process HR transactions and manage employee data in Workday.
• Build and manage HR cases in collaboration with the HR team.
• Assist HR Generalists with administrative and operational tasks.
• Provide consistent, professional on-site support to employees.

Job description

Location: Edmonton, AB — on-site
Duration: 3-month contract, starting ASAP
Schedule: 40 hours per week
Compensation: $40–$45 per hour (stated as equivalent to $85,000–$95,000); 4% vacation pay added to each pay

Support the Human Resources team at a logistics and transportation organization during a leave. The role is the primary on-site HR presence for approximately 300 employees, with potential for extension or permanent placement based on performance and fit. HR processes are managed in Workday.
